A traditional standpoint is that intelligence is very linked with academia. People who receive more education are judged to be more intelligent. People who get better grades are said to be more intelligent than those who get lower grades. An IQ score can be another way intelligence is ranked. But are they judging the right things?
I say no. Let me give you a scenario;
Two different people. The first is a man, he is a scientist. He lives alone, doesn’t socialise and is rude and insensitive when he communicates with other people. He makes a huge scientific discovery which makes the way we view the universe completely different. He is not truely happy.
The second man walks around the streets collecting litter for a job. He has a wife, 2 children and is very caring. He doesn’t make a lot of money but helps out whoever he can, whenever…
